Why Bucknell: After visiting a range of East Coast universities as an alum of the Fulbright-Sutton Trust US Programme, a programme to help state school pupils in the UK to apply to US universities, I was set on getting the liberal arts experience. Bucknell offered me both the small college feel and the ability to spread my wings, and I have been able to do this by recently being elected to Student Government as well as starting a new Ethiopian/Eritrean Club.
Favorite Bucknell Experience: As a first year, I know I still have a lot to experience, but the my favorite Bucknell experience so far has to be International Orientation. The leaders and other participants enthusiasm and ability to make each other feel comfortable made the whole week enjoyable.
